Ron Fellows of Toronto led his first Winston Cup laps, on way to a second place finish behind Jeff Gordon, in the NASCAR "Frontier @ the Glen" at Watkins Glen International Raceway.
Fellows had his career-best Cup series finish at Watkins Glen, driving the #87 Bully Hill Vineyards Chevy for Joe Nemechek. In his only scheduled NASCAR Cup series race for 1999, Fellows led 3 laps, but was beaten by Gordon on the final restart.
