Paul Tracy finished .610 seconds ahead of Player's/Forsythe teammate Patrick Carpentier to win the CART "Champ Car Grand Prix of Mid-Ohio" at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Lexington, Ohio. The third Canadian in the field, Alex Tagliani was 6th.
