Frank Biela and Marco Werner drove their Infineon Team Joest/Audi R8 to victory in the American Le Mans Series "Toronto Grand Prix of Mosport", at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. Scott Maxwell of Toronto and teammate Gunnar Jeannette finished 3rd overall in the JML Team Panoz/Panoz LMP01, while fellow Torontonian Ron Fellows and his American teammate Johnny O'Connell, driving the Compuware/Chevrolet Corvette C5-R, finished 4th overall and 1st in GTS class.
