Jacques Villeneuve, Nicolas Minassian, and Marc Gene, finished 2nd overall at the "24 Hours of Le Mans" driving a Peugeot 908 HDi FAP. Villeneuve's fellow countryman, Ron Fellow's of Toronto, finished 2nd in GT1 class and 14th overall, co-driving the Compuware/Chevrolet Corvette C6.R, with Johnny O'Connell, and Jan Magnussen.
The race was won by the Audi R10 TDI of Allan McNish, Rinaldo Capello, and Tom Kristensen.
